Parsec’s PTA020 Active GNSS Antenna is an omnidirectional, active antenna that includes low noise, high intercept signal gain combined with band filtering and a compact, high efficiency antenna covering GPS and GLONASS frequency bands. The revolutionary antenna structure provides high efficiency coverage in a compact form factor with an exceptionally small ground plane. This creates an optimized GNSS front-end solution for compact M2M modules with embedded LBS receivers that must operate with an obstructed view of the satellite constellations.
The PTA020 is designed to provide robust GNSS performance in coexistence with co-located cellular and wireless connectivity services through the use of proprietary, ultra-low noise amplifier technology, highly selective GNSS band-pass filtering, and optional band-reject filtering of cellular and connectivity bands. The u.FL cable interface provides interconnect flexibility into the host GNSS receiver IC or module.
